A very large number of people in the world suffer from acne, commonly called as pimples or zits. This condition, which is mainly a condition caused due to impure blood not finding a proper outlet from the skin, occurs in people of all ages and colors. It affects men and women equally, and though it is a popular condition in the adolescent years, it can happen at any age. There is a bacterial strain, the Propionibacterium acnes, which is considered to be an aggravator of this condition.

Maintain proper hygiene of the skin. Wash your face with water and a lime-based soap. Wash it in the night just before you sleep and always wash it when you come back home from outside. Do not allow sweat to sit on your face for a long time; wash it out whenever you can.

Most people use toothpaste to get rid of acne fast. The method is very simple. All you have to do is to apply the toothpaste on the skin of the face and allow it to remain there until it dries. Once it does, you can wash it off your face.

You can keep up a regular therapy with guacamole if acne is a persistent problem with you. You have to make a guacamole paste and apply it on the skin, directly over the pimply areas and throughout on the face. Keep it for about 15 minutes and then wash if with water. This can be done once a week.

Prepare a solution with a teaspoonful of milk, a little honey and a slight tinge of lemon juice and apply it on the areas where the pimples are present. This is a wonderful household remedy to get rid of acne fast. If it irritates the skin, then it is so much the better. The solution is actually working in that case.
