Blocked skin pores are one of the factors that can cause acne. Your skin pores may end up clogged with excess makeup, dead skin cells, or dirt. Clogged skin pores by themselves are not the sole cause of an acne problem, but if you take this problem and add an oily face to the situation you’ll have a breeding ground for acne. When this happens bacteria is produced and puss forms causing a pimple, a whitehead, or a blackhead.

What causes acne besides oily skin and clogged pores? Well, not keeping your skin clean on a daily basis is one of the major contributor to the trouble you are already having. this is one of the reasons why it’s very important to take care of your skin by washing it on a daily basis with warm water and a gentle cleanser.

Smoking will have a negative impact on your skin. Now,everyone knows there are no positive affects that come about from smoking. Unfortunately, many people don’t consider what smoking can do to your skin. Continual smoking will age your skin and promote acne breakouts. It’s been proven that acne breakouts occur more often with smokers than with non smokers, therefore it would be in your best interest to cut down or quit your smoking habit

What you choose to eat can effect your skin condition. Have you ever noticed that the individuals who eat healthy foods always seem to have healthy skin, while the other people who eat nothing but oily foods and have a poor diet seem to always have a problem with acne.
