While heartburn can be caused by an array of different factors, one of the most common reasons that a person experiences heartburn is because of the foods that they are eating.
There are foods that cause heartburn and while they may not cause any problems in certain people, in others who have a poor gastrointestinal tract or who are just very sensitive, they can cause serious problems. One person may have different safe foods or foods that they can eat than someone else, so it can vary from one person to the next. These are foods that most people agree have caused problems with their heartburn.

Instead they should try it in moderation and start to slowly lessen the amount that they are eating each week to determine what amount of the food if any is tolerable.

Exercising on a regular basis is important for people who suffer from heartburn. This can be hard to get the motivation for but it will offer relief of heartburn symptoms as will quitting bad habits like smoking and drinking alcohol. Not eating large meals is another tip that can help with heartburn. Heartburn can definitely be a difficult condition to live with but at least people know that there are ways to deal with their problem and start feeling a lot better.
